When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I discovered something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This was more than a standard reef dive; this was an adventure into the past.

Honestly, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Wreck diving is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** were absolutely professional. The Divemasters gave us an excellent briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Going down was surreal. At first, it was just a dark shape in the website distance, and then it appeared. It is massive. It's now a bustling new home, covered in corals and teeming with fish. We saw giant groupers hiding from the hull, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. The feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly structure is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It's a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough.
